Twoday - garden and sticky fingers

Part 2 of day two consisted of a photoshoot of lily in the garden with wes, the photographer, hanging out a window - just a few stories above. so yeah, that was that, and then we went out to check out some stores, where wes looked in vain for an ipod case (they're all for nanos, darn it!) and eventually settled for a pair of headphones as a form of retail therapy. oh, and frank, we went to sticky fingers, the rolling stones restaurant - its awesome. good times.x

the Stones are so cool ... I was a bit worried when your Mom started tapping her foot and swaying - I thought "here comes a dance any minute" - we would have had to kill her and dispose of the body ... messy

A Rolling Stones-themed restaurant! How cool is that?

I'm trying to imagine the menu:

- Let It Bleed Burger (extra rare)
- "Brown Sugar" & Cinnamon Scones
- The Rolling Stones Hot Dog: it's only a sausage on a roll, but you'll like it

That's very creative.

the "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" cottage cheese salad - from Eileen

the Wild Horses steak tartare - from Greg

the Jumpin' Jack Flash beans, it's a gas, gas, gas - both

Then there's the Grilled and Marinated Little Red Rooster...mmmm....

Seriously, the photos are wonderful, keep 'em coming!

Greg, I think you are confusing Eileen with "Elaine" from Seinfeld.
Let her dance!

Of course I've found myself under the laser eye of my own teenager when I've so much as shuffled my foot during a concert.

Have fun, kids!

and under forms of payment they list "You Got the Silver"... (the best Stones song ever IMHO)

Seriously, I have to get over there sometime and see that place.

As soon as lovely daughter #1 is safely ensconced in her institute of higher learning (Western Washington University in Bellingham) and the handsome punk boy is back in school here... we might have some options...

Oh, a pot is brewing
My very tea today
If I don't get some caffeine
Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away
Espresso, kids, it's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
It's just a shot away
It's just a kiss away

I think Teri and Shawn have won this competition.

Honorable mention to Greg for "Beets of Burden" ... I knew that one was good because it made me groan out loud.
