Hey everyone, today was great! Lily slept in practicly to noon, while Greg and Wes ran an errand and checked out the Kensington Gardens. Then we met up with Lily's dad, Danny, who took us to lunch and then Madame Tussauds. It was great, consisting of a celebrity room, a sports figure room, a royalty room, a music figures room (including the beatles all sitting on a couch), and a world leaders room. Then a live horrors room, with wax models, actors, and sounds. Then, an Imax show on celebrities. All in all, a great time. I highly recommend it. oh, and THEN, Lily and Wes made dinner themselves - roast chicken with rice and salad. wes mutilated the poor thing. whooo!

the chicken was delicious! And I can't wait to see the photos - especially the unique chicken-stuffing technique that Wes employed ...
Uhh, news to ME that Wes can cook a chicken!
Hmmmmm

PS- thanks to Danny for a grand outing; well done!
Wes's family would just like to add one more remark here: we hope that Wes's "unique chicken-stuffing technique" is different from his bowling technique...otherwise, somebody over in Battersea had a free dinner!

Hey Wes.
This is Tris. Today while you were out with Lily and Danny at that cool museum, I was at the little beach near Alex's grandma's house. And I found an Indian spearhead carver thing made out of obsidian, mixed in with all the driftwood and stuff so you could hardly see it was there.
Please write back.
Tris.
Mme Tussaud's is nice and all, but I wish I were on the beach with Tris looking for Indian artifacts!
I carried Seamus out onto our beach tonight and the waves were awesome -- almost California-sized. This is very unusual for the Long Island Sound! The noise hypnotized him to sleep within seconds.
Have fun with the rest of your London week!
You guys are making me homesick, with all this talk about beaches and waves ... wish I was also looking for cool Indian artifacts and watching Seamus drifting off to the sound of the waves - the real stuff of life?
Yes Teri, it is like the bowling action, and the chicken didn't even hear it coming ..
Love the new photos! Esp. the one of Wes drafting Lance Armstrong!
