Museums

So sorry this is late in the day!!
Slept late and went to the Science Museum - we first saw a great exhibit on rockets and cars and then a 'futuristic room' with information about science thats being developed, like being able to take a pill to determine the sex of a baby and such. Then we went to the Natural History Museum, which was really cool, and has absolutely beautiful walls (note pictures of us both above) then went to Starbucks in Chelsea. Wes completed an endless job - sorting through Eileen and Greg's HUNDREDS of CDs for 10 pounds in a very organised way, labels included. Full day!

Hey, how's the weather? I detect plenty of indoor-based activities ... is it raining? Does the sun shine in London? (or is that a touchy question, sorry!)

What's next? The Tate Gallery? Which one has all the famous portraits?

Have a rainy-day hot cocoa for me!

Wes gets the music-organizing gene from his dad ...

Uh, his dad's CD collection is not organized. Impressive, and wide-ranging, but not...well, HE knows where things are!

PS - I notice, Wes, you "organised" -- going Brit on us, eh?

Yeah, the CD project took all day, through tons of re-re-organising and shuffling and filing. Do you guys have any idea how much "Van Morrison" these people have? I ran a bet with Greg as I stacked the CDs into alphabetical order - which would be the tallest? The bet? "s". The winner? "M", becuase of all.. this.. Van.. Morrison!

yeah, and I secretly thought it would be "B" for all Leenie's Jackson Browne's ...

Van's the man, indeed; Leenie knows quality, right, Greg?
When are y'all going to the Fringe Festival?

thanks GF - some of her choices are classy, and some are dubious. VM is classy; JB is dubious; KJ is classy... we are fringe-bound Saturday a.m. with cameras and kilts poised ..

Did you throw out the Jackson Browne, or file it under "T" for "toupee-wearing dwarf"?

Ha ha ha ha aahahahhaaa

actually, in "F", for floppy-haired git ...

Okay, let me just speak up for Jackson Browne here! Jeez!

Yesterday I was driving through town in heavy traffic and heard "The Pretender" wafting through my car window. I started humming along, then peeked at the car next to me to see who was playing this music: tough-looking guy with a bunch of tattooes.

Just sayin'.

(Hey I think Van Morrison is the tallest in my collection, too! Very close race between Van and Neil.)

isn't it amazing what those Metro's get around in these days? Just like JB, I'll bet he had hush puppies on his feet ...
